filler neck

The gas filler neck is super rusted so I need to replace it. My questions is...do I need to drop the tank to replace it? from what i can see the the neck has a few bolts at the top and then it goes into a rubber hose with a clamp on it (looks kinda like a radiator hose) .....Thanks

no!!! just un do the clamps and the screws and pull the neck out.

you will see when you go to the salvage yard to get one.
