Sorry bro, but I'm going to sit it out. I'm trying to go to Tail of The Dragon at the end of October with the Cobalt crowd. I need the time available.
Yes, I'd rather hang out with Cobalt crew and drive TOTD instead of seeing a bunch of trucks. Besides, from Chicago, Derek's house is much closer. I have had so much fun this weekend with the rave at his house I want to do it again. Since you'll obviously be staying in KC to keep Derek distracted we can turn this next party into a wild ****. I already talked to those really hot twins down they road. They said they're legal, 22 iirc, and in for the time of their lives. Damn they look young for 22!

About 6 weeks away now. This one is well worth the trip if you can make it. We're expecting 300+ trucks of all makes, models and years out at this thing with a ton of events all weekend long!! It'll be a full weekend of fun

If you were going to come to just one of the two instead of both this one would be the one to make. This show is considered our truck club's "bread and butter" show and has been featured in a few truck magazines over the years and has at least twice as many rides to look at and quite a few more events (high/low, burnout, loud exhaust,...) to participate in or watch.

Also....this one is in North KC so coming from Iowa it'll be roughly an hour closer drive time.
Let me see what kind of crew I can line up. I might be able to get the Asians to bring the wedge with 3 cars but not sure since that Indy show is this weekend.

Even if you have just a frame with a motor mounted up I've seen those out there before to show off their bag set up. That's always cool especially when they continue coming back and you see the progress of it from year to year.
