So i spent the 5 minutes yesterday and through in a dash cam. I used a FitcamX, but i know Mangoal makes one as well. from what i've seen their apps are basically identical, and overall products are very similar as well, so choose whichever you wan't, i'll link the FitcamX below. they can be options with other cameras as well if you want, as well as mane other accesories that you could want, like GPS, or 24/7 monitoring. Choose the setup you want and go with it. I choose basic, because that's all i wanted
Install is easy
pop this portion of the cover off first
Now drop the rest if it, going down
This is the part that i found upsetting. the latch for the harness is facing the window. whatever. not a big deal, just annoying. I used a hook pick to quickly pop the latch and disconnect the wiring, and then put in the adapter harness
The next part i didn't take any pcitures of, connect the harness, tuck the harness (this is the part that always seems to be annoying, never enough space or enough harness to tuck it where you want to) but eventually you'll get it, and now, you have a dash cam that looks factory, blends in, and is relatively easy to install
Now go grab a beer or a drink, your job for today is done.
