I really thought their products were state of the art. The way they are presenting their products and since these lights are VERY expensive, I thought they would be good.
But my disappointment came with a bang.
I do not drive my truck much. It is mostly parked outside my house, but this summer has been very wet with a lot of rain.
Rigid Industries claims their lights are waterproof, so I should think they atleast would withstand rain.

Well, I bought this 20" E-Series LED this winter. And a couple of days ago I noticed that only half the LEDs were working. The other half was flashing and died.
I contacted the dealer who sold me this light, but he told me to contact Rigid Industries directly since they do operate with a lifetime warranty.
So I did.
But they are not willing to replace the bar, and tells me to work with the dealer since they are not an authorized dealer. (?)
Or they can repair the bar, but I will have to pay for the shipping both ways Norway-USA.
Bad customer service if you ask me.
I paid 659 US$ for this bar, and really thought these products would be good.
Today I opened this bar and I was really surprised on how bad these lights are sealed. There are no rubbergasket or other sealant under the front panel of the bar. And the gasket under the side panels are just a joke.
These lights are really a ripoff so do stay clear of these.
Before I bought this bar, I should have read more reviews/complaints about these lights. Because these water problems are quite common.

Yes, it is costly. So I expected this light to be problem free.

So before you had problems with the water, how did the bar work? Was it as bright as advertised?

I really do not know. As I said, I never got the chance to test the light properly before it broke. But bright enought I guess.

I have agreed on sending the bar back for repair. Will cost me a great deal on shipping though.
Will let you guys know if they will be able to fix it or not. And how it eventually works.

This is honestly the first bad review I have heard about these, from what I know these lights are ridiculously bright when functioning properly.

Ya they are supposed to be very high quality. I'm sure you've seen their punishment test. Try contacting the Company directly. These stupid middlemen are always trying to make a extra buck or run away when theres a problem.

Update:

Received the bar from Rigid Industries today after I sent it back to them.
The deal was that I would have to pay for the shipping both ways, but they sent it back to me without any charge. That was nicely done.
I also said that I could pay for any new housing parts, since I messed it up while I tried to fix it myself, but these parts they also replaced without any charge.
One more thing that was nicely done, was that they did take the lightbar bar back, and got it fixed, even that I bought it from an "unauthorized" dealer. (In the US.)

I installed the lightbar on my truck today, and the light seems to be working fine.
But I’ll still have to see if it stays functionally after some time. They do guarantee a lifetime warranty for their products.
I will keep you updated.
Pics will follow shortly.

Light bar still working flawless after the repair. These lights are very bright. (When working properly.)

BUT. Rigid Industries forgot to write "Repair" on the shipping documents instead of "Sale" as they did.
So I had to pay taxes twice for these lights. :(
Guess this is a young company, so they still have things to work with.

I'm not Impressed with Rigid either.

I got 2 Dually D2 Spots on the Front of my Duramax, and they aren't anywhere NEAR as Bright as People & Rigid Claim them to be.

I have 2 Baja Designs Squadron's on my Wrangler, and they are just as Bright as HID's, no BS.

1 Squadron is Brighter than 2 Dually D2's...and the Squadrons are Smaller, Lighter, and only Use 4 LED's.
