I need opinions from the think tank, I will post pic's of the install which is going great but I need thoughts on whether to plumb it as a standalone or keep the radiator in the circuit? So many different opinions on line. Some trans builders say standalone is the way to go, others say that you want the rapid warm up for smooth operation and to prevent condensation from accumulating in the trans fluid on short trips. Others say you don't want elevated coolant temps to influence trans temp and vice versa while towing. We live in the high desert and our last trip with the trailer the trans hit 238f as we crested the hill and would have kept rising so I need maximum cooling from this install.
