Demolded

I went ahead and pulled the trigger and demolded the Yukon. It was fairly easy now all I need to do is wash, clay and wax.

Looks great! I think the silver birch trucks look especially nice without the moldings....but I may be a bit biased....

Now you just need to debadge!!!

Scratchen? Did your spell check just blow a fuse? lol

Use fishing line and heat, and there's almost no way to scratch anything. Just be sure that when it comes to the hard pieces with edges (like the individual letters, and the Flex Fuel badge) you don't get most of the way through the backing then PEEL the item back. If you do, you run the risk of digging the edge/corner of the piece into the paint. Take your time and get all the way through the back of the item so that it comes away on it's own.

Yes. Heat it up a little bit, and saw it off with fishing line. Then I recommend a 3M wheel just like many others here told me about... Goes so easy like this! There are numerous threads here about it... read around, it is a pretty easy mod.
