Custom Tune

Hey guys, Looking for some advice regarding the custom computer tunes - when you guys get these done, are you always deleting the 8 cylinder-to- 4 cylinder shut off (DOD)? When the truck runs 8 cylinders all the time, is MPG still improved with the new tune?

I kept the V4 mode. I mainly got mine tuned for better drive-ability (throttle response and torque management) and speedometer correction. I did notice an increase in mpg, but sometimes it is hard to keep off the skinny pedal.
