Anyone have the most recent list of contraints? I am trying to sell my 22 Tahoe and a dealer that want to purchase it from me is telling me GM will be doing a "huge kick back" starting soon in an effort to talk me down. I think he is full of it (he is not a GM dealer by the way). Last I checked a diesel RST was going to be very hard to come by for the rest of the 2022 model year. Mine has luxury, max tow, 2nd row buckets, heated 1st and 2nd row seats. Future retrofits are heated steering wheel, steering wheel lock, and front/rear parking sensors. Even if there is a kickback coming, what good is a kickback on a product you cannot get or find???

I don't know about kickbacks, but your build is pretty much the list of current constraints. They are released every thursday and off the top of my head, the Tahoe constraints related to your build are:

Max Tow
LM2 Diesel
RST Trim

The real question is, why are you selling your brand new Tahoe RST...

I wouldn't expect any kickbacks or discounts on these anytime soon...just picked mine up on Monday and they encouraged me to place another order as they would give me $6-7K more on the trade than what I paid for it when the next order comes in 4 months

This all crazy stuff!
By “kickback”, I assume you mean “rebate”? Why would GM offer a rebate for a vehicle that is 20% beyond their capacity??? Ain’t gonna happen!!! If anything, I would expect a significant price increase between the ‘22’s and ‘23’s. $2000 wouldn’t surprise me at all.

I'm sure you guys will think I am crazy, but I am just not in love with it. I came from a 2021 Trailboss LT and I went to this due to enclosed storage in the back and general usefulness over a pickup. It is actually a very nice vehicle, but something about it just doesn't hit me right. I have a dealer willing to give me $5k over MSRP and I paid much less due to being GM Family. So it is a $7k profit. Couldn't turn it down as I have other vehicles I can drive while I decide what to do.

This is absolutely true. I had two different dealers offer me $5k over MSRP. My MSRP was around $68k I believe and they are consistently going at auctions for $72,500.

No, I am actually switching gears totally and just ordered a 2023 Camaro SS2. I have a 2015 diesel Grand Cherokee I can use to pull the boat and whatnot, so I will keep using that as my utility/winter car. Figured I would do something fun. Never owned a sports/muscle car before, but always wanted to. We will see how it goes. One thing if for sure, now is the time to try cars on like you do shoes as they are worth 10% more than MSRP as soon as you take them home. Who would have thought the car market would be like this. I remember the days of cars depreciating 10-15% as soon as you drive them off the lot. This is insane.
