{College student} Getting some fun stuff for the Tahoe this weekend! {Reloaded}!Rims!

Hey guys,

Since I have been at college this semester my Tahoe has remained with the mods I have done since I have been home. Well that changes this weekend :)

First to be installed is this:

That is in addition to my Alpine system tunning with a Line-out-converter

Second to be installed also this weekend
Corsa Sport single side exit exhaust system with twin 4.0" pro series tips.
(Got it for.....$350 BRAND NEW off craigslist!)

I'll be sure to post pictures of it all installed!

Hope it doesnt get me a ticket on campus for being too loud :party33:

Also I would like to lower it/ airbags, but being in New England and with AWD I think in the winter the stock height will help

ride height wont really matter in the winter with AWD, alot of people on here have AWD lowered that live up north where it snows its bum off all the time, if you want to just be safe just get a 2/3 drop

What would a good set of 2/3 drop cost roughly?
Also what about cost of install (just ballpark)?

I am looking to get 22s or 24s in the Spring so a drop might happen then too

I havnt prices them in a long time but depending on what brand anywhere from $300-$500 for the kit and installation could be about $2 or 300 it helps to know people who can do it so you dont get price ***** by a random shop

Good work son!!
I like that 3100DVD alot, I tossed the 4100DVD idea but don't like the moving screend. Also the 3100DVD looks cleaner IMO so its in my future.
To install a lowering kit should run about $300.

Yea I looked at the 4100DVD too, but it is not worrth $100-150 more IMO. Both screens have the same resolution too even tho the 3100 is 1.2 inches smaller

yeah, evne jsut getting it tucked under the carpet would do wonders for safety and looks both.

At worst some loom or an electrical tape wrap.

I had to get the GMOS-04 to make it work. I found one on eBay for $35 shipped which is about 50% less then most I found. I guess I'm getting lucky with finding deals haha

Yea, I was looking into this. I think it would be easier to just wire loom wrap them. The only issue is my friend might buy both the amps off me this winter so I can get my 13.5" JL W7 and 2000W RMS mono amp for it.
