Any ideas about painting the chrome trim around the grill. Will paint stick to the chrome/plastic. I don't think I wanna plastidip. How hard is it to remove the chrome trim?

It is a pain in the rear to remove! But, very do-able. I just pulled the plastidip off mine and painted it last weekend. The clips are really hard to get loose, and the tabs that hold the grill on the side at the top are very hard to remove without breaking, but once you figure out how it comes apart, it's not too bad.

I sanded mine with 1000 grit and used an adhesion promoter, then painted and followed up with a clear. Looks better than it did with the dip IMO.

X2^^^^ that's the same process I did. I did use base/clear just cause I have a spray gun at the house.
