Certain I missed the discussion, but a search turned up nada.

So, I had a grief-stricken deer hurl him/herself into the side of my '15 Tahoe, breaking some of the clips holding the union of the bumper to the quarter panel. I thought a local dealership gearhead told me there was no quick-fix. Is there any inexpensive way to be sure driving down the hwy my bumper doesn't continue to pry through the remaining clips which doesn't involve a body shop or mass amounts of duct tape?

So are you saying that the fasteners on the bumper cover are broken? I've seen people use tie straps like stitches until they had the repairs done.

Ooh, that's a great idea. I have a Bovee tool (used in medicine for cautery), which i could melt some holes from behind maybe and apply numerous zip ties. Or maybe a solder iron..? Fingers crossed!
