My 2 AUX/Cigarette lighters in the center console broke at 2 separate times, but i just thought it was a fuse problem. I replaced both aux and the aux2 fuses in the fuse box on the driver side, but the center console outlets still are not working. I have a 2007 Tahoe and I'm not sure if i need to take it in to be repaired or if there is something I can do to fix it myself.

When i took out the old aux fuses (20a) they didnt seem broken or blown which just added to my confusion.

any help is appreciated

thanks

The 12 volt outlet has a fusible link built in. You can blow that without blowing the fuse. The outlet is dead and needs replacing. I blew the cargo area outlet using a power inverter. The dealer replaced it under warranty.
