Brakes

I am having a problem with my brakes. My brake light came on my dash so I checked the brake fluid level and it was a little low so I add some. light went away for a few weeks. I just changed my brakes and now its back on again. My peddle feels weak. If I pump my brakes a few times the light will go away and my peddle will feel normal till the next time i hit my brakes. the fluid level is fine and there are no leaks anywhere. Anyone got any ideas?

My first thought is your master cylinder going out...

Any way to check and see? I am in Atlanta, Ga. for work right now and left my dam tool box at home in Lafayette, La.

Have you bled the brakes at all? You may have caught some air in a line when it was full.

No. Didn't think of that. Going to have to wate till I get home. I'll go ahead and change out the fluid wile I'm at it.
