Brake switch problem

I have a code P0724 Brake Switch "B" Circuit High. I am going to change the brake light switch as soon as it gets here. Does anybody know of other places I should look for this error. It's a '99 Yukon, 2WD, SLT.

hot short to signal so it would be getting the full 5Volts could also cause it
