Finally took the plunge. Bought a 2010 Black on Black Escalade.

For years, I had been hoping GM would do an Escalade-V, but since they didn't I bought a used base so I don't feel bad ripping it apart. Just starting the planning stages, but a mild engine build, forced induction, suspension, wheels, stereo and perhaps a few other interior updates I've been pondering.

I look forward to continuing to search around the site and interacting with you all. Some great looking rigs on here.

Picking it up next week and pics will follow.

We will be awaiting Progress ;)

A good company to call for tips on your build might be to contact Krazy house customs in NJ they built a pretty fast one about 2 years ago I'm sure they could answer anything we can't . I hope you come through with this as I don't believe anyone here has built a performance Esky NNBS

First step is to get the truck home. Progress will be slow as I overthink everything, but I would really like the engine in/out updated by summer. I will do the suspension about the time the snowmobiles get put away. And hopefully have the engine finalized not terribly far after. Stereo and guts can wait although I have a hacked Nexus 7 that boots in a couple seconds on power on, works with the rear view camera, google maps, accesses music of a usb hub and such so if the stock Navi bugs me too much it'll come out quicker...only bummer is I am not sure that I can use it since I know I can fit a WAY bigger screen than that.

Thanks for the link, I assume this is the rig?

Adding a lowering kit to improve the dynamics and adding FI are the definite musts.
