No bias here please. Seriously what can A BB Tune do for me that the following can't:

Looks to be just like the Blackbear tune. Just you get to do everything instead of blackbear... I have heard some good things about Jet with alot of fox body mustangs and maros. but ofcourse the blackbear tunes from all the guys on here have been praised. If you get this, let us know how everything goes. once i get my truck done the way i like it im wanting to tune. either with blackbear, jet, efilive, or whatever else there is...

will do. going to mess with the demo software to explore it. it is $350 and is harder for me to get money for but I could recover cost overtime because I could do three other gm vehicles. Not to mention no waiting for shipping of PCM's.

will call jet on Monday maybe just not compatible with Vista. I guess it is time to break out the old and heavy win 98 laptop.

Got the demo started. It needed to run in win98 compatibility mode.

Will have to see if I could use some kind of yes/no answers mods first and tinker later without having to buy two different jet programmers. I do like that I can change things at any given moment on up to 4 different vehicles and $100 for each additional one.

Anyone else here use the Jet 14005 unit?

i feel you just dont get the whole "bang" with jet. Jet has failed in the TBI chip compartment and are the biggest waist of money. Jet for obd2 applications-cant vouch for myself but i cant see them being soo great.

blackbear has it for me, did a sick ass job on my ls1 fbody, speaking of which driving it today and got on it going up the entrance ramp of the freeway shifting at 6200rpms is fun as hell. Way faster then before and i cant complain

Do you know what BB uses for programming software for comparison? When going thru the jet demo I ran into dozen of tables and 3d mapping graphs to alter a lot of stuff and am looking at my options for one day perhaps doing tuning myself.

PE Mode Commanded AFR and enabling Adjustments
Rev limiter raised to 6600,
Full throttle shift points bumped to 6200
Idle raised slightly to smooth engine
Ignition timing optimized (based on dyno experience)
Various Torque management/abuse management limitation removal
Torque converter lockup modified
Desired shift times decreased and corresponding line pressures increased along with reduction of shift torque management
Engine Fan settings Modified

I believe they use EFI live for the tuning software.

Oh HP tuners is another software out there. I dont have any knowledge of either. Just have heard some info about both software's from different tuners.
