Has anyone converted to black interior? Specifically the seats? I see that they sell black seat covers for the 2nd row seats but I'd like to see what was done with the panel that hinges on the seat.

Paint em black , pop em out . If there leather . Wash them good , then take a rag and acetone and wipe em down ( removing protective coat ) sand the whole seat with 800 grit , hit it with acetone again. Wipe down with a clean rag and alcohol. Spray 2 coats of adhesion promoter it’s at the auto parts store . You can use duplicolor black automotive spray can it’s $14 a can or $54 for a 6 pack on Amazon. Or angelus leather paint and an airbrush . The cloth part of the seat eats the paint up . Multiple thin coats . The angelus paint needs an additive called “2-soft “ for fabrics . Multiple thin coats , if it’s coming out the can thick you don’t have to make complete coverage each pass . It’s a coating itl fill in after a couple sprays . Heat gun dry it. .it will keep u from spraying a cold joint on wet paint to soon . And flake or crack off . You can spray or wipe on a protective layer clear coat . For Lester / flex .
