Black Bear Performance has strived to keep prices in line with the market and keep costs down. As a result, we've been able to maintain the same pricing for nearly five years despite multiple increases in our costs on nearly all fronts.

With that having been said, we will be making a slight increase in all tuning service prices effective August 1, 2013. At the same time, we will also be reducing some of our ECM/TCM and PCM core charge prices to help offset that, as we've been able to take advantage of better pricing from new sources. We will continue to offer free tune updates and no additional cost for heavily modified vehicles.

Active duty members of the military, law enforcement and first responders will continue to be offered a discount in thanks of your service to your country and fellow man.

Without further adieu, new tune pricing will be as follows:
Traditional Tune - $240
In Person Tune - $300
Scan Cable Tune - $330
AutoCal - $579
AutoCal with Case - $629

Our core charge pricing will be broken into two categories. Core charges with the expectation of a returned computer from a customer and outright purchase of a spare where no core return will be possible.

Core charge pricing will be as follows:
96-00 Black Box PCM - $50 (previously $60)
99-07 Gen-III PCM - $100 (no change)
Gen-IV ECM - $140 (previously $160)
Gen-IV TCM - $50 (previously $60)

Outright purchase pricing will be as follows:
96-00 Black Box PCM - $45
"Blemished"** 96-00 Black Box PCM - $25
99-07 Gen-III PCM - $70
Gen-IV ECM - $120
Gen-IV TCM - $40
** A portion or all paint may be damaged or missing. Guaranteed to be functionally acceptable.

Additional service offerings!
In addition to our pricing change, August will bring about a few new service offerings to better meet your needs and provide opportunities to save:

- We will be also rolling out an express service option available on select days and times. The details of this service have not been finalized but we expect to offer same day service (when ordered by 2pm) and USPS, FedEx or UPS overnight service.

- Periodic short term deep discount sales offerings will be posted on our Facebook page (parts and tuning!).

- We have begun offering Duramax diesel tuning on a limited basis (at this point) to in-person and AutoCal customers.

- A toll free number for tune orders, parts and general inquiries will become available on select days and times

We appreciate your feedback and as always, we thank you for your patronage!

Sooooo if we get a tune prior to August 1st, will they be the older cheaper prices?

Jenna can you confirm how much the autocal is if I have already tuned my truck thru BB? I have a CEL from my computer swap I would like tuned off. Its from the new PCM being from a flex fuel truck. I'm the one withe fan control issues which were eventually fixed. I'm assuming this is possible. I also have a motor swap to complete and will need the autocal anyway, but for now I just want this light off. Let me know if this is possible and how much.

Hi, how much is the harness you sell to connect a 2003 Chevy Tahoe Z71 to an 05 electric fan?

My apologies that I missed your question.

The price of the AutoCal depends on which tune you purchased through us previously. Did you get the Traditional, the Scan Cable, or the in person tune with us before?
