Best option for iphone to factory radio?

So the wife and daughter both have iphones and of course they both want to use them in the truck (2008 yukon xl denali). Yes there using the aux port on the front for now, but am looking for something more permanent and user friendly . I was leaning toward the lockpic 550 as I also want to get something to unlock the other features as well, but have been reading alot of negative stuff about there product and customer service. So was just wondering who uses what and if your happy with it. As of right now I'm looking at the nav-tv barracuda for the umlock features, Thanks

Never tried with the iphone but shouldn't you have a usb in the center console? Stock interface is actually pretty nice and easy to use.

USB Didnt appear until 2010. You could always put a 2010+ Factory Nav with USB in it, then unlcok it

I have been thinking about that option, does anyone know what the factory part number would be for the usb cable that goes to the center console? or can you use any usb cable?

If you have USB on your truck then any USB cable will work

I nerver hard of the 1 your talking about. But when I get a chance im going with Pioneer the doulble dins are made for iPhones or should I say people who use iPhones say they like it.

As hit and miss as they are, the GMX550 lockpick is the best if you have an iphone 4 or 4s or even an Ipod Touch gen 4. It will show album art and everything....

I know this is not permanent but....I bought this and it works great with the Iphone. Sounds just as good as if it was plugged into the aux.....and now you have bluetooth as well

Agreed, I have a pioneer 3200DVD and love it. You can scroll everything in your iPhone/iPad/iPod with it. There is another model that's a full touch screen that the wiring for the iPod goes inthe rear so you don't see it. I went with this one because I like having physical buttons for some of the selections.
