BB Tune ........ FINALLY.

So, made the trip to San Antonio and had the tune installed this morning. Justin is really a "stand up" type of guy and fun to talk to. He definitely has me thinking about the SC being added to the Tahoe in the near future ........ I'm a performance junkie with each and every vehicle I own/owned ..... wouldn't have it any other way.

So, drove the Tahoe back the 120 miles and first thing we noticed (had Dad with me for a gun show in town) was the fact that the Tahoe wasn't "working" as hard as it had seemed to be when making the initial trip down. Shifting remains firm (vette servo installed).

I filled up after driving around 100 miles. I had been using 87 octane, but after talking with Jason we both thought it might be more to the Tahoe's benefit if I upped the octane to 89. Well, that certainly did the trick!

I had averaged 360 -/+ to the tank and now am showing 420 average to the tank. In other words, I picked up just over 2 more mpg. Power is better, mileage is much better and I feel this was definitely money well spent.

Yup.

I had a 1987 Jimmy that had been sc'd and loved the torque. My 2008 BMW also has been gone through in just about every way. I'm a power ***** man .......... I go through more girlfriends because of it.
