2019, GMC Denali Yukon XL

Which company offers a better replacement for the OEM Magnaride struts?
Arnott and Strutmasters seems to be the top referenced 3rd party options

Live on a caliche dirt road so there will be fine powder and bumps daily.

Stick with OEM and call it a day. Aftermarket is too iffy for me, and in the big picture a few hundred extra bucks isn't a big deal

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Pics of the truck, please.

Go to GMPartsDirect.com, enter your VIN, go to the Suspension section, and look for the exploded diagram of the shocks. You should find what you are looking for along with the correct part number. And, the cost will be significantly cheaper than the local dealer. You may need to compare secondary RPO codes to select the specific shock for your truck.

DEALER, ROCKAUTO, not sure who else I replaced mine years ago and they are still working fine, but around sept 2018 gm made the oem shocks lifetime warranty
provided you buy them from a authorized dealer/seller.
I would presume sellers offering a 12 month warranty are either not authorized dealers or simply don't want to mess around with it.

I bought the Strutmasters magneride kit for the rears on my 2020 Suburban Premier. It's only been a couple of weeks since they were installed but the ride improvement is night and day.

I hedged my bets by purchasing a 3 year replacement warranty on them.

So far so good.

For anyone still looking. I replaced my rears with OEM at 110,000 miles. Ride greatly improved but front was still soft.

Just went with the Strutmasters last week mainly because they were complete units.

The strut itself is theirs, but the coils are branded Arnott's. So it's a combo.

So far it's bouncy as hell. Can't sip a cup of coffee without wearing some. Was trying to give them a break-in period but think I'm going to call later to see if they have any input.

Hey @intobaitem - I'm new here and looking to do the same as you. Any update on the Strutmasters? Has the ride quality increased any?

Sorry haven't seen this. They are beefy as hell. Easy enough swap. They are a collab with Arnott, or possibly same company. Was a little rough at first but called and got great support. Had to do a ride level reset after they were swapped .
