Anyone wire hids into the reverse lights?

I got a set of H11's and got it all wired up but they wont both turn on at once. I picked up a wiring harness with a relay but no clue how to wire this thing. Anyone else try this on a NBS Yukon/Tahoe? When the one is lit up, its bright as **** and is awesome for light but I really need em both to light up.
