My rear shocks had a leaking air bladder at 97,000 miles so I had to replace them. It looked like something hit the bladder, no idea what or when. I decided to cut them apart (which was a mess) to see how the magnetic part works, (assuming it does something). As far as shocks go they are very stout, really beefy, well made. the liquid is very magnetic, in fact with the liquid poured out on a table it would pull to a magnet very easy which makes sense, the shocks look impressive anyway.
