Yesterday I subscribed to a month of Alldatadiy for my 2004 Yukon Denali 6.0L.

I've got a few projects coming up and I mainly want to determine what I might be able to DIY and what I need to send to my mechanic.

It might be worth the $18, but I'm not impressed. For example, on replacimg engine coolant it listed the steps of opening and closing air bleeder screws. I then wasted over an hour running down that rabbit as apparently there are no air bleeder screws on this Vortec 6000 engine. (Am I wrong?)

Other diagrams were incomplete or wrong.

So, I'd say it's somewhat helpful, but a far cry from being an actual factory service manual.

I'll probably get $18 worth of value, but I'm glad I didn't sign up for a year.

Correct, there are no bleed screws in the coolant system on these trucks. They are pretty much self-bleeding actually. Just leave the coolant overflow cap open and flip the throttle a few times. Done.

I've paid the monthly subscription a few times on my personal vehicles and have found it worthwhile for sure.

On my 04 project Suburban All data showed how to replace the encoder motor reluctor wheel. I ordered it from Rockauto which was like $20 shipped. A replacement encoder motor would have cost $200 easy.

Also, you can download the complete wiring diagrams for all systems in PDF format for future diagnostics. That alone is worth the $18.

But I agree, some of the information is not too useful, especially when it comes to the basics.

There are other options out there. Also try: Charm.li That one is FREE!

Did you double check and make sure you didn't get the Malibu manual? AllDataDIY will often show procedures for different engines and there's a little bit of a learning curve to find your way around the manual and all of its nooks and crannies.
