I had a full catback exhaust but that got annoying, so then i put just the stock muffler on and dumped it under the truck...STILL TO LOUD!....so i know i kinda have to keep the resinator and the tailpipe that comes out after the resinator is to small to add a tip too.....

The GM tip is designed for the stock tailpipe.

This is the photo from the Chevy site:

i would recommend removing the resonator and get a 20" magnaflow muffler. that's what i have and the sound is perfect. not loud at idle or cruising BUT it still barks when you get on the gas... but if you want to keep the resonator, the tip aint too small, the muffler shop will know what to do to get a chrome tip on it

I just put the GM chrome tip on the end of the stock exhaust. It doesn't look too bad. Sorry no pics yet.

Maybe you'd like something like this? Good tone but with no in cabin resonance.

Has anyone done something like this? I'd like a tad more grunt noise when on it, but I've had too many trucks that get droning by replacing cat back. I'm leary as all get out. I'd like to hear if anyone has experience with this.

Please let me know what kind of tip that is, and after you install it let me know how loud it is or even make a sound clip! Thanks
