Alarm while Unlocking???

I have 2 keys to a 2011 hoe, one with the unlock lock button module the other just a key. When we unlock it by the button the alarm doesnt sound (this is normal) but with the key to unlock it, it always sets off the alarm. Am I doing something wrong or what?

thats normal. using the remote arms/disarms the alarm.

Ok thanks! so when I lock the doors getting out, then get back in the alarm goes off?

If you put the key in the ignition it'll turn off the alarm.

Yes thats what I was questioning. Anybody know why the alarm won't deactivate after the door is unlocked by key?

I think this is all wrong....
are you locking the truck with the buttons in the truck or on the keypad....
Ive noticed on my 2011 that if I lock it with the door panel it will have an alarm while unlocking with key.....however not when unlocking with key after locking with key pad.....
