96 Suburban rear driver door won't open from inside or outside handle

Title says it all. Problem is inside the door, how the **** do I get the panel off to fix it?? :D Door was locked and lock rod bound up, fixed that with a Slim Jim but the door still won't open.

Daughter's boyfriend's truck. Probably not worth the effort, but you know how that goes... :blah:

You are luckier than you think! Take out the 2 screws in inside handle.Thats all of them. Might have to fold the seat after to pull panel out.

Just saw the reply, don't know why I didn't get an email notification. I've already got the seat folded down, and there's no way the door panel is going to clear it. I guess I have to remove the rear seat to get it off.

Thanks for the info, I'll post up if there are further problems LOL
