5.3 LSX VORTEC ENGINE Swap

I purchased a 2003 5.3 LSX VORTEC ENGINE AND 4X4 TRANSMISSION, to replace the engine and transmission in my 92 YUKON 2dr 4x4 and was wounding if I should try to locate a 2003 dash to use an a replacement dash, in my 92 YUKON, as this would be faster and hopefully more simple than rewiring my dash to match up with the 2003 engine and computer wiring I have purchased.....

Also, where could I find wiring information concerning this 2003 5.3 LSX VORTEC ENGINE?

i don't think that the wiring in the dash you're worrying about is gonna be as bad as you think. a lot of that stuff is all controlled from the computer, so it's gonna be more of matching up the computer wires from the new computer to the old wires leaving the computer and going to the dash. there's several people who have done the swap on ls1trucks.com, and fullsizechevy.com, and i don't think that the dash swap is necessary. i'll get some links for you. hang on...
