Just putting a feeler out right now. 4.8, probably gonna be a long block. Has 275,000 on it now and will go up some. Going to a 6.0 swap. Has had a random misfire code, but has never skipped a beat. Only shows up at highway speed, flashes, then it stops flashing, and never hesitates or runs crappy. Light always goes out after flashing. Engine runs fantastic! I wouldn't hesitate driving 1,000 miles on a road trip with it. Oil changed religiously every 2500 miles with high mileage Quaker state synthetic. I'll need some parts off it for my swap, but whatever I won't need goes with the motor. This past summer I drove to S. Carolina and back with it, total of 1,500 miles with no issues. Doesn't even smoke! I'll also include a motor dolly that you can roll the motor around on. Great little dolly, has steel wheels on it. Will have to be picked up in Neptune NJ.
