Motor just hit 165,000 miles. I do all the work on my hoe, just dont trust others working on my toys. I rebuilt the trany my self with HD parts for off road and street use. I been looking at a S/C but been kind of leaning to a 6" lift and duble dinn with DVD/sound system. I would get the updated spider injectors and maybe the intake spacer. Witch way would you go?

My priority is a 383. I know you only have 2500$ to work with. I have a list of things i want to do my truck. On my list the things that are under 2500$ are the lift kit, wheels and tires, regear, katskins, transmission, and just minor details. I will be getting a 383 first though. The bigger expenses will be taken care of so the little stuff can come faster. Thats just my opinion on it. Whatever you do decide to get keep us updated with pictures!

Had that and was glad to get rid of her


I have been looking at the sc real hard but I do wheel my rig offroad. It's nothing hard core up some are very tuff. I have been lucky that the only body damage I got was the rear passenger side panel behind the tire (easy fix). A really good lift I think would do me better and then build me some rock rails and bumpers. I think I'll give it a week or two. Y'all will be the first to know witch way I go, in the mean time keep posting and let me know what y'all think.

Statement is false... In the rpo codes you will find that 2drs had the option. Pretty sure mine is but id have to look just to be sure

LQ4 or LM7 Swap with some bolt on's and a good tune. At least that is how I'd spend 2500 on a OBS. Other than a SFA Swap but that will cost you more than 2500 lol
