I got an update from my dealer today letting me know I’m at status code 3400, which based on some digging, sounds like I’m close to production. Unfortunately when I asked my dealer what my target production week is, he said he only sees status codes in their internal system and hasn’t seemed savvy enough to actually ask others at the dealership the true details that I’d like to know. In any case, I’m taking the 3400 code as a good sign that I’m probably a week or two out from my target production week; however, this does seem to have all moved fairly quickly, as the order was just accepted around 4/24. Any experience from others on how quickly orders move from 3400 to actually getting produced? If this is indeed moving quickly, hopefully others can maybe take it as a good sign that the pace may be picking up!

See full timeline below:

4/4 - Order submitted to dealer (3rd dealer I’ve been working with on this; the other 2 I had been talking to since January; really glad I went to them as the other 2 still haven’t gotten an allocation)

4/24 - 2000 or 3000 - Order accepted

5/2 - 3000 - Order accepted

5/9 - 3100 - Order available to sequence

5/16 - 3400 - Order broadcast for production (loaded on assembly plant computers)

Is super cruise available tahoe diesel?
Wasn’t last I looked. Originally wanted the Tahoe but wanted the 3.0 with Supercruise.

Learned the like the Yukon and can’t wait to get mine hopefully in the next couple weeks.

I just asked the live chat agent on the GMC.com what my TPW is, and they told me it is 5/26.

I've gotten zero helpful details from the live agent, but they did tell me this. They could not see or confirm the event code though, but at least the 5/26 TPW corroborates the 3400 event code I received from my dealer yesterday.

Nice! Any idea why it took ~6 weeks after TPW to finally get to you? Where are you located?
I don't know. But, I do know that GM was having issues getting things delivered on time for a while. I'm in Kentucky.

Order officially accepted on 5/1 and still no TPW as of today. This is the longest process ever

FYI, got to take my first highway trip today of about 175 miles. The wife asked if we needed to fuel up and I noticed the gauge was still 3/4 or so. Punched up the trip screen on the 2025 denali duramax and 28.9 was showing. Its not even broke it good with 2000 miles. Loving it....

For what it's worth, my Suburban Z71 order received allocation on 5/1 and was accepted by GM (event code 2000) on 5/6.
Event code is now at 3000 (not sure when that happened)
Dealer told me earlier this week that my TPW was 6/2.

I would guess you are on a similar timeline

I tried the live agent . As outlined you have to have the order submitted 4-6 weeks before they can offer you an update. After 4 1/2 weeks I asked for update with all the required info. The agent then said you need order in at least 4 weeks lol. I outlined to them that I fall within the timeframe but they copy and pasted the 4-6 week timeframe I checked what I gave them to ensure it was correct then proceeded to tell them why even bother saying 4-6 weeks if you don't offer a update at 4 weeks. Useless

What was your average speed?

I didn't break that high but I set cruise to 79. We also have an XL

Mine told me still now tpw as of Thursday this week and sitting in 3000 code. Just drives me nuts. Used to be in the car industry and orders were in clients hands at 6-8 weeks just a few years ago.

Fwiw, they DO NOT KNOW more than the selling dealer as they don't have access to what the dealer has. You are NOT talking to GM but some call service (who knows where? Indiia?) GM contracts to handle customer service.

Just picked up my 2025 Yukon Elevation with the LZ0 Diesel and SuperCruise and I had to go back to my dealer to drop off some stuff for my trade-in which is 55 miles away, so decided to try out the SuperCruise since it is all freeway driving here in the Phoenix area. I left the dealer, hit the freeway, set the SuperCruise to 70 and never touched the steering wheel all the way home! This is truly an amazing feature to have. It even slows down when banked curves appear and posted speed limit signs appear for the curves.

Got an update from dealer the Tahoe was in the Chicago area on Friday on its way up to Ontario should be here this coming week. I wasn’t aware they could track the specific vehicle thought once it left Arlington it got updated once it hit a yard somewhere. I believe they get railed here to Ontario then car carried from rail yard to the dealer that ordered it.
