2025 Diesel orders opened

I am being told by multiple dealers in North Carolina that ordering for 2025 Tahoe/Suburbans w/diesel engine is still not open yet. Which dealers did you guys have luck placing an order with? (or in what state?)

Also, the online builder still forces you to remove the diesel (at least on High Country) when you try and add certain packages such as Super Cruise or Rear Entertainment, for ex.

For those that successfully placed an order: how did you navigate this with the dealer to figure out an actual configuration that can be built? does the new vehicle ordering manager have the capability and system access to figure this

I am told that Lynn Layton in Decatur Al can order them and also Glynn smith around Auburn can order them. The diesel Tahoe is not currently available with supercruse , but you can get the delux package ( air ride). The Yukon is available with supercruse but not the air ride suspension unless you oreder the ultimate

What were main specs / trim of your build?

White with black int. Denali trim with the 3.0. Our build was for premium max comfort with mpg ride, so for less weight no sunroof and no 4wd, don't use them anyway. Wanted 20 inch rubber since it rides much better and quieter. Got everything available with those options. Would have loved the look of the Denali 25 edition but my options would not allow. Also wanted the retracting side step rails but only came with pkg or sunroof. The Diesel comes with supercruise and tech pkg. The dealer has promised to do some blackout changes after delivery and I have prepared to have the wheels powdercoated black. Sure wish the air ride was possible for me but NOT. Waiting.....

My order is supposed to be built this week or possibly next week depending on who you are asking. We ordered the tahoe high country 3.0 with the deluxe package. we had to get the 4 wheel drive to get the other options we wanted.

National Allocation Quantity is the middle column. Right column is my dealers allocation for the week.

Zero, Suburban Z71 w/ 3.0, were allocated this week across the country...wild.

As of this morning, GM is now reporting an updated status on my 3.0L HC build:

"Your vehicle order has been accepted by General Motors and is moving toward the production process."

Dropping in to add my experience. Placed an order for a '25 RST Tahoe with the LZ0. Dealer in Missouri submitted order on 3/14 with no problem. GM bot says submitted but not accepted yet. SuperCruise was not able to be added, but that wasn't a deal breaker. Our salesman didn't have exact info on allocations, but suggested submitting order ASAP to get in line.

Dealer informed me that the Yukon has make it through production and should ship in a couple days after quality control routine.

Well I went back to Yukon and said screw it with the screen. I’ll learn to cope lol.

Ordered Denali with Reserve and Air Ride. Went with the white frost and teak interior. Order was accepted within 48 hours.

Can’t wait to be rid of my GX550

bomnin chevy always offers deals if you’re willing to fly to Miami. another deal is supplier discount, hopefully gm will continue the customer loyalty 3k off

There's a grand total of 4 XL Duramax showing up on the GMC inventory search nationwide. None are Denali Ultimate. For reference, there's 5 of the SWB - 2 Denali's, but not Ultimate. They might be building them, but they haven't hit the transporter yet...
