I have a 21 Yukon SLT. Had a bunch of rewards points from having to buy a transmission recently so I purchased the illuminated black emblem. I’ve got everything ran as instructed but I plug it into the harness and it won’t turn on. The harness has power I checked it. We also rigged up a way to test the emblem and it came on when powered separately. I don’t know if it’s as simple as not getting a good connection when plugged into the harness. Anyone else had this issue?

When you say the harness has power, which harness, and when does it have power? I had my door sills installed by the dealer since it might have required programming.

The harness that is wired into the side parking light. Tested the end that plugs into the back of the emblem and I have power.

But when it’s plugged into it doesn’t work.

And you've checked it out when it's dark out and your auto-headlights have turned on? 'Cause if it's not dark out, it's hard to see that it's on. Also, if the headlights haven't come on, then the emblem isn't going to light.
