Hi there I’ve got a 2016 Tahoe LTZ and just recently purchased. The rims inside are speckled with most likely tar and look filthy. What is the best way to get these clean?

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

Pics of the truck, please.

An associate of mine, who is a Detailer, recommended Meguiar's Hot Rims Wheel and Tire Cleaner, and I've had great results with it on my rims.

Regarding the left wheel's knocking and vibration at times issue, can you provide some more details on this issue and when it occurs? Front or rear on left side? Straight road or turns when the issue occurs? Speed, acceleration, or deceleration, when the issue occurs? Is the vibration felt on the steering wheel, the pedals, the floor?

Welcome!

Will you be getting new tires? The BEST time to get them nice and clean would be removing from the vehicle when new tires are going to be installed.
It is a lot easier to get them great looking with room to work, the proper tools, and a good plan.
