I am looking at a friend's 2015 4wd tahoe lt black in color. 113,000 miles 5.3 liter.
Has a misfire cylinder #7 i can see evidence of squirrel chewing the center plastic trim middle of engine bay where the hood closes. He is asking $9,000 for it. I did not have my tools or scanner with me today.
Was planning on switching coil from another one. No lifter noise present underside frame, no oil leaks anywhere. Is that a fair price? I know if could be a failed lifter, cam and other items to be replaced if it is. I just winder if the squirrel chewed through a wore feeding voltage to the coil or #7 injector.

Appreciate the advice
Thanks

#7 is an AFM lifter. That is the one that failed on my 2018 Yukon Denali.

I would remove the driver's side valve cover, reconnect everything the start the engine to see if #7 is working.
