Hey all,

Was wondering if someone could inform me if the u-jopints for the front and rear are diffrent or the same.

I see a lot of options on rockauto and I dont want to order the wrong parts.

Thanks in advanced!

What are you driving? They most certainly are different whatever it is you move on down the road. A K2 uses 1415 u-joints out back. They might still be using 1344s up front, not sure.

Jeez sorry, it slipped my mind to add what vehicle I have.

It's a 2015 Tahoe with 4wd
Well, I'm getting some varied information. I know the 2015s had an early and later versions and that the axle size is different between the 5.3 and 6.2 but do not know with certainty what you have.

Pretty sure the front is still a 1344 series u-joint, 23104840. Some show the front as being a 1355 series which is what I run on the back of mine! 89059111. To tell these apart, the 1344 have snap rings on the inside and the larger ones have the snap rings on the outside like the rears.

The rear is either 1355 but I thought they all were 1415 on the K2s. If you measure the u-joint, the smaller one will be just over 3.5 inches across and the bigger one will be just over 4 inches across. So you don't have to be precise when you crawl down there to know which is which.

Each shaft has 2 u-joints, the front ones are the same size and the rear ones are the same size.

Thank you! The link you provided last night helped a ton. I used your link Plus RockAuto to figure out what I needed. Bought them last night and got them early this morning, they seem to be the right part so far.

These are what I ended up going with. Just due to price and availability.

Also because the are greasable. I prefer greasable parts if I can help it.
