2005 GMC Yukon DRL

One of my DRL's is burnt out, so I replaced the bulb and it still is not working. The part that the bulb connects to is burnt, what do I need to do to fix the light? Thanks.

Splice the wire and put a new bulb socket in there.

every parts store has a huge stock of these... because it happens to all the GM SUVs, trucks, etc.
