try driving it around some if possible...i've had idle come back to normal after a maf or battery disconnect with some driving around and a few start cycles..

your describing a huge vac leak. get some flammable spray. brake cleaner, carb and choke cleaner, starting fluid, or propane, and spray it around the intake gaskets and evap lines. the idle will jump up when you hit a leak area.

Did you replace the Intake Manifold Gaskets? Did you use genuine GM knock sensors and replace the harness too? Did you torque the knock sensors? Did you build a RTV dam around the grommets? Did you make sure that your PCV valve was put on and clamped? Did you hook your vacuum hose that goes from your brake booster to back of intake manifold back up? Did you scan for any codes?
