The box with the C315s bumps so hard it starts sliding all the way to the hatch, so I needed to throw my false floor back in so that I could screw everything in place.

However, I wanted a more clean look than that black and green splatter paint I had, so out came the carpet.

The amp rack is much sturdier when you actually build it how it's intended to be built, who woulda guessed?

Still have 34" from the back of the batteries to the hatch, which is decent. Gonna be real hard to fit four X15s though.

Tomorrow morning I'm picking up a temp box for two of the X15s so I can throw them in and get some testing going....

Actually got a ton done today! Finally got my window decals in, but they appeared too small!

No matter what position we tried, my dad and I couldn't get it to line up. And the guy I bought them from wasn't able to figure it out either.

turns out we had to cut the bottom 3 stripes off, and do the decal in 2 parts

We did the passenger side first, and it is a little lopsided, plus has a few issues, but you can't tell from 3' away. The driver side came out much better!

Worth the $50 for sure.

Then I started tearing down my setup
I'm not a decal guy, but they look great! And you got them right too, advancing not retreating!

Yeah I usually don't like them either, but I always wanted to try the process out just to learn.

I was incredibly surprised that I liked it.

Have had a couple setups in and out of the vehicle musical wise, but won't really get into it.

I think I'm gonna downsize again and get some of that cargo space back, and finally order a tune.

In the meantime, I attempted the task of removing my running boards.

Went back home and got the brackets off, bedliner'd the frame, and it looks much better now!

Got that 2" squat going on from the weight of the car audio lol.

Scheduled my tint appointment for Wednesday! Soooo excited lol.

My new head unit (Pioneer AVH-X490BS) arrived along with their Pioneer BC8 backup camera, so hopefully this weekend I'll get those installed.

Since these '02 only have 1.5 din space, I'll have to get creative to make it fit, but I don't think it'll be an issue.

I've been looking into some different lift options, because I think I'd like to go with like a 3" lift on 35s that are a bit more aggressive and wider than these.

You can get parts from an 03-06 to make a double din work. The faceplate/bezel, and the box behind the opening for the radio. It's riveted in.

^^^ yep what he said. No need to get all creative, very easy swap ;)

Yep, but the 03-06 doesn't fit the HVAC controls well, and would need dremeled anyways.

Plus those dashes are like $45 and $15 for the actual compartment.

I was unsuccessful in finding any local LKQ or other junkyards with the parts I needed, but I have some ideas for getting things under way ;)
