2001 yukon denali hard to steer please help.

I have a 2001 yukon denali 6.0. It looses power steering and low rpm. Power steering is fine when I give it gas. When I am braking into a turn the rpm's drop down and all power steering is lost. I did the old pry on the pulley to see if it moves to tell you if the power steering shaft is broke and it didn't move a bit. The fluid level is good and I even flushed it out with new to see if that worked. It didn't. Please help I've searched everywhere for my symptoms and have had no luck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

The only thing I could think of is the pump is going bad.. I have never experienced this
