Well wheels hit backorder again before it was my turn so I’m top of the list for the next batch when they hit the floor. Mickey Thompson is saying end of the month. Keep them fingers crossed it happens I need new tires bad...

On to stuff that’s happening.

Got a new drop hitch since my old one wasn’t going to be a big enough drop to work.

Prepping for new wheels, I wanted less maintance but I ended up with bare aluminum wheels, here comes the polishing and pitting hahahahahaha.
I cant sacrifice the look I want for easier cleaning, it’s not who I am, we work hard to have vehicles that stand out so I will just have to pay to play. Got some White Diamond, a PowerCone and a PowerBall to start with. About to order a bunch of Zephyr polishing products. I’ve cut, buffed, and colored metals before when I worked at a custom bike shop, I am actually a little excited to get to do it again it is pretty fun.

Transmission blows fluid out of the dipstick tube seal when I drive over 60mph for more than 15mins and there is a small hole in the dipstick tube where it has been rubbing against the transmission. Got the stuff in the mail today, it’s one 13mm bolt and a little wiggling. Should have that done in the next 30mins.

Trying to decide on which pod to go with?!?! I really like the overhead one, it goes above the mirror and blocks that gap where the sun always seems to be, but on the other hand I have always liked the tradition on the a-pillar style. Planned on running transmission temp, voltage, and fuel pressure.

Also trying to decide on which wheel locks to get, lots of reports of Gorilla Locks rusting with in a year, haven’t seen much on McGard? Anyone know the nitty gritty on these things.

I’ve never run wheel locks. If somebody has the jack/etc to take wheels off, they’ve got something to bust the locks with. They’ll get the wheels one way or another

Also, I vote top pod. That’s badass

They will slow them down enough so you can maybe catch them....
