08 Tahoe Hitch Cover

I was looking at getting the filler for the back to cover the hitch. How do these install? Can you just unsnap the cover off and on when you need to tow, or do you have to remove screws or bolts to take the cover off..

You have two options, ride up to you local Chevy dealer and but the GM Accessory htich cover in your color Tahoe or, order the Street Scenes hitch cover for the Tahoe online somewhere, then when it arrives have your local dealer paint it to match.

I say just get the GM one, its alot easier of a process. But if your Tahoe is not black/dark colored then you may want the Street Scenes one, looks better or light colors beacause it doesn't have a surrounding weatherstripping!

I am pretty sure it snaps on and off. The Denali i had for a few days had one but i never thought to look.

I have the oem one, easy install and to remove/reinstall is not too bad. Just two twist tabs to lock it in place. Worried that it could be taken easily. but then they would still need the piece that is screwed into the bumper to make it work.
