I've read about the guages and the motors on the guage cluster being replaced for malfunctioning guages. However, all my guages work except the fuel guage and the fuel readout that shows miles until empty doesn't read at all. I've replaced the fuel pump assembly in the tank, and reconnected the sending unit wires to the unit because the Tahoe has 150k mi and I know it'll need one soon. After this replacement it still doesn't read at all, nor does the fuel readout/miles to go. Any ideas?
I've read that if the sending unit is working properly the area on the dash showing miles until empty/miles to go, will work. Just don't want to blow more time not focusing on the right thing.
