I have looked everywhere that I know to look and cannot find the information I need regarding swapping bench seats in an OBS Tahoe. I have a 96 2 dr and I want to swap the straight bench in the back with a 60/40 bench with the fold down console. I found one in a salvage yard in great shape and pulled it the other day. I know I’ll have to do some drilling and tapping in order to mount the new bench. What I need to know is, what that process looks like. Is it possible? Will the 60/40 even fit properly with new holes? How labor intensive is it? How do I cover and seal the old holes? I’m fairly new to this as you can see, and any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
