Anyone run long distances with a hitch mounted cargo carrier behind their Denali or HC? I’m looking to get one for my ‘22 Denali but am concerned that the hitch mounts directly inline with the quad exhaust tips. Curious if anyone has experienced any heating or melting of items mounted back...
As a Customer with a produced vehicle sitting in Midlothian since 3/23, I was curious what the group think is here on if we should expect any sort of discount or goodwill offering from GM on our vehicles?
In my case, 6+ months of tires sitting stationary, oil pooling in the lower sections of...
Here near Arlington, I have definitely seen more semi-truckloads of new Tahoe’s/Yukons on the road to somewhere in the last week.
Yet my 3/23 build is still sitting going nowhere. :(
I've been waiting on a Denali that is well over $65k since it was built in March. From my lens, its only the cheap ones that seem to be getting through. Funny how our perceptions are different based on what we are waiting on.
Uggg.
Appreciate the additional info, but every time I see one of these get delivered I get more and more pissed off.
It feels like I was at the front of the line at the DMV, then they just magically decided to start letting the end of the line go first.
3/21 build date here. Latest update from dealer this morning was that I’m still waiting on a chip. September to December delivery window is most likely.
Probably going to bail at this point. I know it doesn’t matter to GM, but I have had enough of this ********. This was going to be my first...
March 23rd build here. Latest word I got from last week was that I’m on a chip hold.
Two weeks ago I was told it’s complete and now it’s still waiting on chip(s). Who knows.
The fact that some folks and VINs and some do not (mine has no vin or window sticker per my dealer) is an interesting nugget to me.
I think some are sitting finished waiting on transport and some are sitting short a chip or in quality control.
My dealer says they confirmed mine is complete and just waiting on delivery. Since I am local they are trying to see if they can just go pick it up. We shall see. It’s been there since late March.
Thanks for the detailed response.
My trailer has vertical guide poles to guide the boat into the trailer. They stay well above the water (unless I screw something up big time). Based on what you know, do you think installing on top of one of those may work for me? (Similar to below pic)
As a boat owner, I’d be curious as to why it won’t work with a boat trailer. Surely there is a way to temporarily mount it somewhere so that it will work properly.
Mine has been there since end of March. Dealer isn’t sure but thinks it’s chips related. Say they have called GM multiple times and have not received a straight answer.
What does ASN mean/stand for?
Just to add data for you…mine is a white frost Denali w/max tow and sunroof. No other options. And My dealer is literally 15 miles from the Arlington plant so theoretically there is no train involved.
How did you guys get your VIN Numbers?
The interesting thing to me as I was looking at options, was always that the 20's and the 22's fill the exact same amount of the wheel well. Just a matter of rim to rubber ratio. If the 22's got you more fill of the wheel well I would think there would be a bigger difference visually, but as...
