Thank you for the response, similar driver here. I chose the 6.2 for a reason and enjoy driving it aggressively at times. it just struck me to notice ina short period of time the economy dropping so low and feeling sluggish. Albeit, the weather and me being my own worst enemy expecting to fly...
Always premium fuel 93 octane. To be honest I don’t have that large a data set to work with yet as it was very recent but I was averaging 15/18 and it’s been roughly down to 10/12.
Appreciate the response, it probably is all in my head lol. I am forgetting it’s 100 degrees out and humid right now with the ac blasting isn’t helping my case. Guess i just need some more time behind the wheel to get used to it.
Hello All,
Just visited my local dealership and had my 22 XL checked for the recall and ended up with the new heavier weight oil and extended warranty.
I couldn't be more disappointed with the performance of the engine as it now feels sluggish to accelerate, fuel economy has dropped roughly...
I have about 36k on my 22 XL, I have experienced a rough idle bouncing around 500 rpm when stopping the vehicle. Brought it to the dealer a few times they cant find anything said its normal. Yesterday right after i got off the highway and came to a stop the whole engine and car shook and dropped...
I will say prior to finding my 22 Yukon XL I did look at a 22 platinum I believe, which was priced very similarly to the yukon minus a few features. It drove nice, felt nice, looked nice. But overall felt tinny and cheap for the price they were asking.
Fast forward to the rental. The panels on...
I have a 21 Yukon with MRC and a 22 Yukon XL with MRC & air ride. The difference is quite noticeable whether driving around town or on the highway. It was the one feature I wouldn't go without, I also have the extended warranty for piece of mind on the added equipment.
Sorry i glossed over the video the firs ttime, mine has a squeaking sound for like 30 seconds and then goes away almsot sounds like a belt. Yours does sound more mechanical in the engine area.
Same on my Yukon, went to dealer they provided me with a TSB that shows a known issue with noisy startup due to enviromental regulations the catalytic converter has to heat up upon start something along those lines.
Michelin Defenders all day... 70K Mile tread and night and day difference over stock tires. I have them on my wife yukon and alenzas on mine and I cannot wait to upgrade.
Yes, it makes a huge difference. Initially I skipped the windshield, however once I experienced a hot day with that being the only window to not having it I knew it was needed.
I had my 2022 Yukon done with XPEL Nano Ceramic Tint, I think it was 70%. Look online at XPEL's website for dealers in your area, this shouldn't be an issue.
The stock bridgestones suck, horrible traction and wear. I have Michilin Defenders on my wife's yukon and there is a night and day difference with these two. I can't wait for mine to be replaced with the defenders as well.
I have a 2022, when sitting at a light it revs down to about 500 rpm and sometimes feels like a miss fire. Auto stop is a headache, the other day I forgot to turn it off and hit the gas and the engine stalled before restarting.
Welcome to the forum, I have the husky liners in my black denali and weather tech in my dark ash denali which better matched the colors and both perform well. If your doing tints I suggest XPEL nano ceramic heat rejection tint.
