I use flowmaster cats. Had to replace one in the 03 Yukon Denali and have since cammed & tuned it and it’s the cat is still working great after 40k miles. i had a broken 3rd cat on my wife’s 11 Sierra Denali, didn’t know it until I removed and already started replacing the RT/LF cats. So...
I used to run E-free in the wife’s 01 w/ 5.3. It definitely made a difference. Tried it a few times on the 03 Denali, didn’t notice much difference since I alway run premium anyhow.
Had a separated cat in my recently purchased 2011 Sierra Denali with 239,000 miles and it had some real valve train noise. Replaced the spark plugs with ac Delco 41162 plug that is the superseded plug, and some JBA zero ohm plug wires. Ordered 2 flowmaster 2220125 cats and welded them in and...

Have had same issue for years, replaced both front impact sensors and still have issue, figured a while ago that it was most likely the clock spring. Removed one from a similar year Yukon and wow! What a pain, honestly don’t know if I can sway the clock spring with a used one…so I’ve been having...
I put a flowmaster hushpower 2 on my 05 Sierra and it has great sound, and no drone at all. So I ended ups scoring another on eBay for $50…just waiting to install on something in the future.
GM will start turbo charging their engines as well. They dropped the new Vette engine after what, one or two short years…I’m sure they’ve tested turbs and will make the switch soon
40’s have THE worst cab drone. Put a dual in dual out on my 03 Denali w/headers, cam, etc and it’s been absolutely garbage. Bumping up to a Flowmaster big block dual in dual out as soon as I can make the modifications to weld them in
