    Liftgate issues

Feels like I'll break the struts if I force the door. I'll look again for the dimple. My gate panel is black and I checked it with a flashlight as well as feeling for it. Did not see or feel a dimple. Thanks for the input.

    Liftgate issues

Mine has no dimple to show where to drill. With cover off I see a hole in the actuator that I press with screwdriver and it is stationary. Since the actuator releases and locks shouldn't that mean the actuator works? I don't want to drill exploratory holes; or, am I misunderstanding how this...

    Liftgate issues

OK...My 2016 just started not opening or closing with the switch on/off. Will not open manually. Actuator is unlatching and re-latching when lift gate attempts to open and then close after about 3-5". Nothing appears to be jammed under the gate. I have pulled the actuator plate and the...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

UPDATE: Problem still there but less frequent. They could not duplicate in shop this last time. Did it once briefly for me less than 10 miles from shop when I drove away. Since then I've put over 500 miles on it with no noise. I expect it to return. The saga continues. Keeping Chip out of...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

All they did was clean the #8 coil and clear the code. I'm hitting to road on the 17th for a 500 mile round trip run. Tends to act up more frequently when it warms up during steady driving. This will be primarily interstate but in past as soon as I pull off to slow down on ramp or the next red...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

As suggested I was able to put vehicle in neutral when the noise began (twice) and it did not stop. Noise stops only when it engages what feels like a lower gear. Seems if it was an ABS sensor it would be more consistant?! Thanks!

Thanks for the input. ABS was checked at a Clearwater, FL GM/GMC Dealer after we arrived to confirm it was safe to drive home to TN. Checked OK. (According to them) I never checked myself. As you suggested, if the noise stays long enough I'll shift to neutral and see what happens. I have...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

Not sure if these will come thru. #3105 is poor video and I didn't have GPS connected. (Been copied many times which has degraded video. You will need good speakers to hear the noise but when I connect to my old stereo the noise is obvious. Look at timer bottom right when it gets to 13:42...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

I have a short video of the noise from last Febrfuary but can't get it to load on this site. Something about the format? I'll try to load again. I drove another 75 miles today and the noise came again as I was slowing down on exit ramp less than 3 miles from home. Other than that it runs...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

After 19 days in the shop and a partial transmission rebuild I got my vehicle back. Ran great for 90 miles then the noise came back. Still runs good but that noise is a concern. Contmplating what to do. I haven't been charged a dime from dealer so I guess I've gotten what I've paid for?!

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

UPDATE: Third week vehicle has been in shop with techs trying to find and resolve the issue. As previously noted above; the Transfer case has been rebuilt twice. The transmission is now torn down with parts ordered. The item they thought was causing the issue was the Parking Paw/Gear. It...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

The P0308 started after the noise began. The first time they (dealer) confirmed the #8 plug was bad. Went ahead and replaced all 8 plugs and all new plug wires. The coils were not replaced. I took the #8 coil out after the second P0308 and cleaned it with WD-40. I never cleared the code...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

Thanks for the input! The noise initially sounded like an ABS when you hit brakes hard. No codes for this or for transmission. Only code/codes I have gotten lately is P0308. First time the plugs and wires were replaced and all was well. No noise for a few hundred miles. Latest code is also...

    Premier Vs RST

I was told by a woodworker in Gatlinburg, TN that they do use real wood and then laminate it for protection. Not sure what kind of protection but I think the lamination kinda cheapens it's look. He provided this info unsolicited.

UPDATE: (Sorry for long thread in advance) Got vehicle back after 2 days and it ran great for a couple days. No noise. I got the same noise around the third day but it was just a blip. Ran another 300+ miles great. Smooth shifts, etc. After another 300 miles I get the noise again and I feel...

And....while I wait for my next appointment for the transmission/transfer case noise, my Yukon threw a P0308 Code. Replacing plugs and plug wires. It was beginning to miss but hard to tell if something in the drivetrain was slipping or not. This should fix the miss in cylinder 8 and keep...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

UPDATE: Just got it back from the dealer (this time) after 7 business days and I will say it is shifting smoothly so far. They rebuilt the Transfer Case (twice) and replaced the Transfer Case Control Module. It ran fine back home (30+ miles). Have a 500 mile round trip business trip next week...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

Update -- Truck in shop since the 15th. Pretty certain I've got trash in the transmission from the two failed torque converters causing the low gear have low spots which will sometimes search for the low gear when downshifting. It is hit or miss with the hard shifts and I can live with that...

    Transmission slipping 2016 Denali

Some 70's Toyota 4X4 did have to back up several feet to engage/disengage the transfer case. My neighbor had an 80's Toyota 4 Runner and he would back up and move forward a few feet in the street to engage/disengage the gears. I had an 87 Ford Bronco II and a 95 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer. Neither...

2016 Yukon Denali (Standard) with ABS Sensor Hub Issues

Thanks! I'm out of state with it so when I get back I'll upload a photo. Nothing super special but I get comments on it's looks and color. It's a dark gray (I'll get color later) and with the sun it looks either gray, black or brown. Most think it's black from a distance.
