01 Hoe. Went from a Tahoe to a Rawhoe Standard issue add ons K&N cold air Pace setter headers with Flow Master exhaust Delta series ****. Kept single pipe side exit. Only possible other reason could be over toque. Il take a pic of the holes. Thats a huge amount of friction even for lugs to tight. That being said, could a sticky brake pad creating more heat add to the break down? I did notice on that assembly the back side pad was much more worn down. -

Pure aluminumu You are correct. But the existing steel studs against the aluminum spacer.....steel wins. -

You know what i meant. Sorry "wheel".....The lugs were provided with spacers. Everyone knows mixing 2 metals is not a good idea... -

They have just recently within the last month upped the fines and such here in Ontario. Minimal 30 day impound plus 7 day license suspension for what they call stunt driving which is really just going 40 or more over the limit. And they have been harsh about it. Ahh well. Speed limit or 10 over... -

Agreed. Although they are Rough Country 2"spacers from Action Car and Truck. Says made in the USA. Installed to correct torque and spec. I rarely get over 80mph/130km/h as im in Canada and the new "stunt driving" laws are insane. If you are caught going 40km/h over in an 80 you get a 30 day... -

Sorry the "wheel" is mounted using ALUMINUM studs from the spacer with the existing steel lugs.The spacers come with their own lugs which are also aluminum. Using the stock steel studs to mount the spacer with its aluminum lugs and in turn aluminum studs with existing steel lugs to mount... -

Stock studs remain. Steel studs ate the aluminium inside the mounting holes and the spacer lugs walked off -

Steel on aluminium plus friction. So this spacer uses the stock studs to mount. Then in turn has its own studs that you mount tire and original lugs to. So the stock studs basically ate the aluminium in the spacer and the lugs obviously got loose and walked themseleves out. Stock studs were... -

6.2 vs 5.3 and premium gas
I have an 01 LT with a 5.3. Its tuned for 93 and changed all my shift points with no speed limiter. 4L80E I have a 01 LT 5.3 tuned for 93. All shift points changed and speed limiter removed. Headers. Magnaflow exhaust. MSD plugs wires and coil packs. I guess im babbling off point. For the price...- 01 Hoe

Hurts Taking One Like This
Hey friend. I would second the check on torque converter as well. I had a crack in mine and at the same time the starter pin random **** the bed. Sounded like war under my truck. Just a thought. Little bit more time saving and money saving then a tranny re and re. Wishful thinking I guess. Best...- 01 Hoe
