    Transmission clunck shifting into drive

It’s 2x4, no front differential. Maybe transmission mount? But I don’t see it moving much.

    Transmission clunck shifting into drive

I replaced them with H3 mounts a year ago. Maybe I messed something up, will recheck bolt torques. But does it explain that clunking going away when drivetrain is warmed up?

    Transmission clunck shifting into drive

Hi all. Recently I started noticing a loud metal clunk when shifting into D or R from Park on cold. I recorded a video of this. Also, there’s a long delay between shifts when cold. The video shows shifting from P to R to D to R to D and to P again. When tranny is warm, shifts are faster and...

Lean condition codes P0171 P0174 how to troubleshoot

Hi all, Got lean codes recently, several times. No other codes. I did notice real-time random misfires on various cylinders, no codes though. I’m guessing it might be vacuum leak. But I also noticed low fuel pressure on the freeze frame. Can you guys check attached freeze frame data to confirm...

    Side mirror replacement or fix

Hmm in that case I could just take the folding motor from the knock off and use it in the original mirror.

    Side mirror replacement or fix

Just got replacement mirror assembly from eBay for $91. Installed it, works good, the only problem is blinker is not bright enough. So I’m gonna swap just the mirror glass from the original...

    Side mirror replacement or fix

I have a common issue with my passenger side mirror, it stopped folding. Did a quick search here and found many people recommending Gruven Parts motor and gear replacements. For $65 I can get replacement parts. Unfortunately, I don't have the vice or the grinder, it might not be doable for me...

Clunk sounds when shifting into reverse or drive

Thanks guys. That’s a lot of work. I’ll replace the seal and check u-joints. But replacing those suckers is out of my league. I don’t even own a vice or a garage. Have to find a good mechanic.

    Vibrations maybe bad motor mounts

So finally bought the app and ran the live monitor while driving. No misfires while idling. But noticed occasional misfire while driving, always two at a time, just random cylinders, 2, then 1, then 8, then 4. I drove for 15 min maybe. Is this normal?

Clunk sounds when shifting into reverse or drive

So once in a while, I hear a clunk when shifting from P to R to D. Usually happens first time after cold start. And the shift into gear is slow. Not sure where clunck sound coming from. I recently changed motor mounts but it had no effect on this. Did not change tranny mount yet, it seems solid...

This message goes out to y’all who answered my questions and helped first time Yukon owner. I finally finished motor mounts swap. Let me tell you, it was a pain, especially passenger side. I don’t know how many extension combos I used to ge those bolts, but in the end it all worked out. Great...

    Vibrations maybe bad motor mounts

Feel like complete noob. Was gonna do driver side motor mount myself. Took out all bolts. What a pain the ass. Tried to lift the engine using jack and block of wood under the oil pan. But it seems like the engine is lifting with the car. I don’t get it. I probably pushed it up couple of inches...

    Vibrations maybe bad motor mounts

I’m using OBDLink app and I couldn’t find Live Data or anything about misfires except in the emission test section where it has a check mark next to misfires. I did ran the real time monitor and at idle RPM fluctuates between 600 and 670, saw 700 once. Is that ok? I can feel vibrations through...

    Vibrations maybe bad motor mounts

Sorry for the confusion. The link I posted was actually for the engine mount. I thought it was a tranny mount since it said in the description "RWD; 6 speed Automatic trans." So everything is good, the tranny mount is the same on 4 speed and 6 speed, $20. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

    Vibrations maybe bad motor mounts

Thanks @PNW VietVet and @donjetman Getting two of these H3 mounts https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=6437988&cc=1441263&pt=5552 I think I need the mount for 6 speed trans since it's 6.2L, but it's $88 vs $20. Will the cheaper one from 4 speed fit 6 speed...

Finally did the test in gear. Video below. I can see engine move to the side, but not sure if it's normal. First in D then in R.

I don't know, a couple of posts at the end also mentioned cleaning the TB. So I'll look at it first. And using Sea Foam intake cleaner and Marvel Mystery oil cleaners.

    Vibrations maybe bad motor mounts

Hey everyone. Got a 08 Denali few weeks ago. Love it so far! I've been noticing vibrations while sitting on the red light. They are coming through the brake pedal I can feel them in my foot, almost like rough idle, but RPMs are solid. Also going past 50s I can see vibrations in the dash. Like...

    Tech 2 Purchase

Sounds like MX OBDLink and BlueDriver have full diagnostics capabilities. So it's just a matter of preference. Although BlueDriver claims they provide suggested fixes. @Sparksalot you have one, what do you think about their claims:
